Chloe’s Candy Cart Company
In June 2017, I was lucky enough to marry the man of my dreams, Alex. Our wedding was festival themed and we knew how much we would like wooden candy cart. All of the ones we seemed to find looked to be made out of MDF and this wasn’t something we particularly wanted.
Fortunately Alex’s Grandfather ,John Barber had worked for 12 years at a wheelwrights and picks up hints really well! To be fair, I said that I would make it, but Grandad being Grandad said “No, I’ll make it, I’ll do it properly”. Its a good job I am not easy offended – although being honest he was right!
So, as our wedding present we received our very own handmade painted candy cart.
It was admired by so many of our guest – children and adults alike, and I think it is too wonderful to be locked up in our shed, so that we wanted to share it with other people.
